Hello! This is quite an old photo – I don’t have the Audi anymore…

I am a London-based writer, editor and travel enthusiast with a career spanning editorial, publishing, copywriting, PR and lots of other bits.

I am an experienced copywriter and editor with a portfolio focusing on travel and automotive, and covering everything from magazine features and social media, to press releases and brand messaging.

In my latest role, I am UX Copywriter for Ford of Europe at VML agency, helping the brand create a commerce-focused digital experience across it’s European websites. Copy covers everything from configurator, inventory, service booking processes and model marketing pages.

I previously worked as Senior Copywriter for online travel brand, First Choice, providing lead copywriting across the 2023 relaunch, including building and development of tone of voice across all brand-wide touchpoints, creation of copy for all assets on First Choice website – from booking pages and product information, to destination guides and inspiration blogs – plus brand messaging, content marketing and direct response.

I have built a portfolio in the editorial and publishing industry, with a focus on automotive journalism, covering road testing and car news for Top Gear, What Car?, Auto Express, PistonHeads and more. My main editorial portfolio is viewable on Muck Rack.

I have also experienced roles within PR, social media and marketing, developing creative strategies and B2B briefs for content platforms, events and editorial.

I am supplementing my development with a Master’s Degree in Marketing at Birkbeck University of London. I received a First in my Undergraduate dissertation discussing the importance of Twitter in the role of the 2021 Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Aside from all that – I am a keen writer and grammar nerd, and have regular arguments about where the apostrophe should go in T&Cs (spoiler: it shouldn’t.) I’m also a trained musician and singer, a keen Peloton rider and, once upon a time, I ran the London Marathon (not that I ever mention it…)

I’m also still keen to pursue my goal of working and living overseas – Harvey from Suits, I’m coming for you.
